About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to manage the overall operations of our 35-room boutique hotel. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, delivering excellent guest service, managing the team, controlling costs, handling procurement, and maintaining the hotel to high standards.
This role reports directly to the Hotel Owner and offers the opportunity to independently lead hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Ensure excellent guest service and high guest satisfaction.
- Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, and Breakfast operations.
- Manage procurement of hotel supplies, guest amenities, and breakfast items.
- Maintain inventory and develop good relationships with vendors.
- Ensure effective use of hotel software (PMS, Booking Engine, POS, Inventory, etc.).
- Prepare budgets, control expenses, and improve profitability.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and guide the hotel team.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and statutory compliance.
- Monitor the hotel's condition through preventive maintenance.
- Submit regular operational and financial reports to the Owner.
- Identify opportunities to improve guest experience and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Graduate in Hotel Management or any related field (preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of hotel operations experience.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role managing hotel operations independently.
- Experience in procurement, vendor management, and hotel software systems.
- Good knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
