Salary: ₹23,000 – ₹28,000 per month
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Design & Estimation Engineer with experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes. The candidate will be responsible for creating 2D & 3D models, preparing engineering drawings, and supporting estimation activities in coordination with the engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models as per customer and engineering requirements.
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimations based on material requirements, machining processes, and production inputs.
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams for design validation and improvements.
- Analyze drawings and support the manufacturing feasibility of components.
- Maintain design documents and update drawings based on revisions.
- Provide technical support during the product development process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design or related manufacturing industries.
- Good knowledge of 2D & 3D modelling.
- Hands-on experience with design software such as:
- SolidWorks
- Creo
- Unigraphics (NX)
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in forging, machining, CNC, or automotive component manufacturing will be an added advantage.
