Job Title: Nursing Staff (GNM/B.Sc. Nursing)

Job Summary
The Nursing Staff is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols. The role includes patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, assisting doctors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring infection control practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in OPD, IPD, ICU, Emergency, and Wards.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, condition, and progress.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Prepare patients for surgeries, investigations, and diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
- Follow hospital infection control protocols and maintain patient safety.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment as required.
- Educate patients and their attendants regarding treatment and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid/CPR when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and availability of medical supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and follow ethical nursing practices.
- Comply with all hospital policies, NABH guidelines (if applicable), and statutory regulations.
Required Qualifications
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Freshers or experienced candidates may apply.
- BLS/ACLS certification (preferred).
Required Skills
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Knowledge of nursing procedures and clinical protocols.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Teamwork, responsibility, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
Working Conditions
- Duty Hours: 8 Hours per Shift
- Shift: Rotational (Day/Night) as per hospital duty roster.
- Weekly Off: As per hospital policy.
