Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress, and report changes to the physician.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during medical procedures and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure infection control practices and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and surgical procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide basic and advanced life support when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of medical equipment.
- Participate in ward rounds, handovers, and departmental meetings.
- Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Registration with the State Nursing Council.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- 1–3 years of hospital experience is preferred.
- Experience in ICU, OT, Emergency, NICU, PICU, Dialysis, or Ward Nursing will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
