SEO Analytics, Dashboarding & Planning Executive

About the Role
You will be the data and planning person on a three-member SEO team. While the Tech and Content executives execute their tasks, your job is to make sure the team has clear, accurate data every week; that action items are tracked and completed; and that the monthly plan reflects what is actually working.
You will build and maintain the SEO dashboards, run the weekly team stand-up, own the reporting cycle, and lead the monthly planning session. You will be the person who spots a problem in the numbers before it becomes a crisis.
What You Will Do
Daily
- Review the shared SEO dashboard by 9 am. Flag anything that needs same-day action from the relevant executive.
- Track ranking movement across the top 50 target keywords. If any keyword drops 5+ positions, escalate with context: Was there a crawl issue, a content change, or a competitor move?
- Monitor GSC index coverage during Months 1–2. Any drop of 50+ pages gets flagged to the SEO Lead immediately.
- Update the migration health tracker redirect status, pages indexed, Core Web Vitals, and crawl error count. This document is the team's single source of truth during the migration.
Weekly
- Publish the weekly SEO summary every Monday by 10 am. Cover: organic traffic (week on week), keyword ranking changes, pages indexed, backlinks acquired, and content output. Keep it to one page.
- Run the Monday team stand-up. Review last week's action items, check completion status, and set the week's priorities. Target: under 20 minutes.
- Maintain the shared action item tracker. Every task from all three executives must be logged with an owner, due date, and current status. Nothing should fall through because it was not tracked.
- Pull scroll depth and engagement data from Microsoft Clarity for the top 20 pages. Share key UX findings with the Content executive.
- Monitor WedMeGood, Shaadi.com, and WeddingWire India for new content, ranking changes, and backlink activity. Write a short note to the SEO Lead each week.
Monthly
- Deliver the monthly SEO performance report to the leadership by the 1st of each month. 10–12 slides covering organic traffic vs target, keyword rankings, domain rating, content vs plan, backlinks, site health, and competitor benchmarks.
- Run the monthly planning session and review what worked and what did not. Set priorities for all three tracks for the coming month, with clear targets and owners.
- Identify the top 10 keyword opportunities for the following month based on search volume, current position, and content gaps. Present with a recommended action plan.
- Review tool subscriptions to confirm all are being used, flag gaps, and recommend changes.
- Produce a competitor benchmark report covering organic traffic estimates, domain authority, content output rate, and backlink activity for each main competitor.
Dashboards You Will Own
- Organic traffic sessions, users, organic share: week on week and month on month; device split; top landing pages
- Keyword rankings: top 50 keywords, current position, 7-day and 30-day change, estimated click volume.
- Content output pages were refreshed, new pages were published, and the meta completion rate and SurferSEO scores improved.
- Backlink acquisition, new links, total referring domains, Domain Rating, link type breakdown.
- Migration health redirect status, index coverage, Core Web Vitals, crawl errors, rich result count
- Competitor snapshot: estimated traffic, DR, and top-ranking pages for WedMeGood, Shaadi.com, WeddingWire India
What We Are Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in SEO analytics, digital marketing reporting, or a data-focused role at an agency or startup.
- Comfortable building dashboards in Looker Studio and working with GA4 and Google Search Console data.
- Strong in Google Sheets pivot tables, formulas, and conditional formatting.
- Can turn a data export into a clear, one-page summary that tells people what to do next, not just what happened.
- Organised and proactive, I know what is due and who hasn't delivered, and I raise it before it becomes a problem.
- Uses AI tools daily (Claude, ChatGPT) to speed up reporting, interpreting exports, writing summaries, and generating insights from raw data.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where the data is not always clean, and the plan changes week to week.
