- Hiring & Training: Recruit, interview, and mentor front desk and guest services staff.
- Scheduling: Create work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and holidays.
- Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular employee reviews and manage ongoing team training.
- Guest Services & Experience
- First Impressions: Ensure a welcoming, highly professional atmosphere for guests and visitors.
- Daily Operations: Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Reservations & Inventory: Monitor reservation systems and room availability to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Billing & Auditing: Supervise accurate record-keeping, billing, and auditing.
- Housekeeping: Coordinate with the housekeeping team regarding room status (e.g., dirty vs. ready) and guest requests.
- Maintenance: Report maintenance issues to the engineering team for prompt guest room fixes.
- Sales & Management: Update the revenue or sales team on group bookings, room blocks, and overall forecasts.
