Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Engineering
. Design and implement data architectures. Ex: Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.
. Design / Build ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data ingestion, processing, and integration across heterogeneous systems.
. Drive data governance, security, metadata management, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
. Apply big data processing techniques on distributed systems (Ex: Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Dask) to handle large-scale enterprise workloads.
. Enable advanced analytics and AI-readiness of enterprise data platforms to deliver actionable business intelligence.
AI/ML & GenAI Solutioning
. Architect AI/ML pipelines integrated with data platforms for predictive, prescriptive, and generative use cases.
. Implement Generative AI (GenAI) solutions for: RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) with vector databases Synthetic data generation to augment ML training datasets. AI-powered data quality and enrichment in ETL/ELT workflows.
. Drive adoption of DataOps, MLOps, and LLMOps for enterprise AI lifecycle management.
. Incorporate knowledge graphs, semantic layers, and data fabric concepts for enhanced data discovery and AI integration.
Architecture Strategy & Leadership
. Define enterprise-wide data & AI/GenAI strategies aligned to digital transformation goals.
. Establish reference architectures for hybrid data platforms and AI-driven ecosystems.
. Guide organizations on responsible AI/GenAI adoption (governance, compliance, bias detection, explainability).
. Serve as a thought leader in Data Architecture / Analytics and AI implementation strategies.
Client Engagement & Advisory
. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data+AI-enabled architectures.
. Strong consulting skills to engage in client discussions, understanding their challenges and design solution which drives their business.
. Design and Present architecture roadmaps, data strategies, and AI-powered solutions to executive clients.
. Support pre-sales solutioning, PoCs, and RFPs by showcasing advanced data+AI capabilities.
. Act as a trusted advisor in modern data & AI transformation initiatives.
Data Architecture Expertise in Data Warehouses (BigQuery, Teradata, or any cloud services) and Data Lakes/Lakehouses (Databricks, Delta Lake, etc..). Strong knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and distributed architectures. Hands-on with ETL/ELT tools (Ex: Informatica, Talend, dbt, Airflow, SSIS, DataStage, Glue, ADF). Real-time data processing with Kafka, Flink, Kinesis, Spark Streaming. Experience with big data ecosystems (Google/AWS/Azure services or Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc..).
. AI/ML & GenAI Skills Hands-on with ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face). Experience deploying and scaling models via MLOps/LLMOps (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI or any other cloud services). Strong understanding of Generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG). Familiarity with GenAI cloud services (Ex: Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, Hugging Face Hub). Knowledge of semantic search, knowledge graphs, and AI-enhanced metadata management.
. Analytics & Insights Proven ability to design data systems that support advanced analytics on distributed systems. Experience enabling business intelligence (BI), predictive analytics, and prescriptive AI insights. Ability to integrate AI-powered BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik with embedded AI/GenAI).
. Soft Skills Excellent communication and consulting skills with C-level and technical stakeholders. Strategic thinking to connect data platforms with AI/GenAI use cases. Leadership in mentoring, architecture governance, and knowledge-sharing.
