About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and self-motivated Export Sales Manager to expand our international business operations. The candidate will be responsible for identifying global business opportunities, developing overseas markets, generating export sales, and maintaining strong relationships with international clients.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong market knowledge, and the ability to independently handle export sales activities from lead generation to order execution.
Key Responsibilities
International Business Development
Identify and develop new international markets and business opportunities.
Generate leads through cold calling, email marketing, networking, and online platforms.
Research potential customers, distributors, and business partners in target countries.
Develop strategies to increase export sales and market penetration.
Sales & Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers.
Handle inquiries from overseas clients and provide timely responses.
Conduct product presentations and negotiations with prospective clients.
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
Follow up on sales opportunities and convert leads into customers.
Export Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with production, logistics, and documentation departments for smooth execution of export orders.
Monitor order processing, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export documentation requirements.
Resolve customer concerns and provide after-sales support.
Sales Planning & Reporting
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and performance reports.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Qualification
Graduate in Commerce, Management, Marketing, International Business, or related field.
Additional certification in Export-Import Management will be an advantage.
Experience
2–3 years of experience in Export Sales, preferably in the Plastic Industry.
Freshers with excellent communication skills and strong learning ability may also apply.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Knowledge of international markets and export procedures.
Familiarity with export documentation and logistics processes.
Ability to build long-term customer relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of CRM software will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
