Job Summary
The IT Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and security. The role includes providing technical support to employees, implementing IT policies, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data security and system availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Manage Windows operating systems, user accounts, and system permissions.
- Configure and maintain Local Area Network (LAN), Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Provide technical support to employees for desktops, laptops, email, and business applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Office, antivirus software, and other business applications.
- Manage Active Directory, user access, passwords, and group policies (if applicable).
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor server performance, network security, and system health.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.
- Configure and manage email systems, domain settings, DNS, SSL certificates, and cloud services.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing records.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware procurement, repairs, and technical support.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor cybersecurity threats and implement preventive security measures.
- Support video conferencing systems and office communication tools.
- Assist in setting up workstations for new employees and offboarding departing employees.
- Recommend and implement technology improvements to enhance business efficiency.
- Ensure minimal system downtime and prompt resolution of IT incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, or IT Support Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and computer hardware.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall management.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is an advantage.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, CCNA, or similar are preferred.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- May require occasional after-hours support for system maintenance or emergencies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple IT priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation and benefits will be provided based on qualifications, experience, and company policies.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
