Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer – Snowflake with strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimising modern cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, ETL/data pipelines, Azure ecosystem, and big data technologies.
The candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams to build scalable and high-performance data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure technologies.

Implement and optimize Snowflake architecture, including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and data ingestion frameworks.

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and Snowflake SQL scripts.

Build and manage data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Work with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark for large-scale data processing.

Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.

Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.

Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and data issues.

Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Required Skills:

Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture and internals.

Hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL, Snow pipe, Streams, and Tasks.

Strong SQL programming skills.

Experience in ETL/Data Pipeline development.

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Good knowledge of Azure Data bricks.

Strong experience with Apache Spark and PySpark.

Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and Data Modelling.

Experience working in cloud-based data engineering environments.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in Snowflake.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work in agile environments.
