We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through manual and automated testing. The candidate will also be involved in documentation, client communication, and coordination with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key ResponsibilitiesManual Testing
- Analyze business and technical requirements.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure product quality before release.
Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute automation test suites and analyze results.
- Improve test coverage and optimize automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Documentation
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test reports, and defect reports.
- Document testing procedures, quality standards, and project-related information.
- Ensure all QA documentation is up to date and easily accessible.
Client Handling & Communication
- Interact with clients to understand requirements and clarify issues.
- Participate in client meetings, demonstrations, and project discussions.
- Provide testing status updates and quality reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in issue resolution and ensure timely communication with clients.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
- Experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
