Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility is creating animations based on storyboards and rendering .mp4 files for routing. Work will be performed according to agency job flow procedures, will meet deadline commitments, and be delivered with the highest degree of accuracy.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall project management (supporting the Project Manager)

Follow established departmental procedures and create animations based on departmental social media ad best practices

Follow motion graphics guidelines and standards in collaboration with the Creative Operations Director, Art and UX Team

Attend CO hand-off meetings while referring to the CO Social Media Ad best practices deck to ensure that all client/vendor deliverable expectations are met, asking all the pertinent questions during the meeting to make sure you have a clear understanding of the project

Follow established After Effects file and folder structures and guidelines as outlined in the Social Media ad creation and best practices deck

Ensure .mp4 (or .mov) files are rendered according to deliverable platform specs (e.g. video duration; file size, codec etc.)

For projects that route via Workfront, make sure all directions are clear, and queries are answered. If there are any unforeseen problems on any project inform Project Coordination of additional time required to complete the assignment

Double-check all work, and pay attention to details

Back up all files to LucidLink after each round
-
Follow established departmental procedures for naming conventions, making sure job folders are organized and are backed up properly to the appropriate directory on the CO server

Proactively seek work from the Director of Creative Operations and/or peers to assure continuous job flow and to minimize downtime between assignments

Practice quality control in all aspects of the role

Maintain accurate time sheets

Qualifications:
Qualifications

Solid motion designer experience using After Effects
-
Experience using Figma
-
Prior experience animating social media ads for all major social platforms is a plus
-
A good sense of graphic design and typography
- Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot in all pertinent programs, e.g., After Effects, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Word, Acrobat, and can adapt to new and changing programs

Must demonstrate the ability to foster teamwork and organize, prioritize, and manage workload while assuring complete accuracy of the final project
