Position Summary
GiftAbled Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist with
experience in community-based and centre-based rehabilitation services. The ideal
candidate should be committed to inclusive development, possess strong interpersonal
skills, and be willing to travel across project locations in Uttar Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community-Based Physiotherapy
Conduct home visits and provide individualized physiotherapy interventions.
Assess physical needs and develop customized treatment plans.
Work closely with caregivers, family members, and community health workers to
ensure continuity of care.
2. Centre-Based Therapy
Deliver structured physiotherapy sessions at assigned centres.
Maintain a safe, accessible, and inclusive therapeutic environment.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve rehabilitation goals.
3. Beneficiary Data Management (Goonjan Software)
Record and update beneficiary information and therapy progress on Goonjan
software.
Monitor intervention outcomes and revise treatment plans as required.
Generate and submit periodic reports on beneficiary progress.
4. Capacity Building and Training
Train caregivers and community workers in basic physiotherapy techniques and
home-based care.
Conduct awareness sessions and community workshops on physical health and
rehabilitation.
5. Collaboration and Advocacy
Liaise with local healthcare providers, NGOs, and government stakeholders to
strengthen rehabilitation services.
Promote disability inclusion and advocate for the role of physiotherapy in community
development.
6. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and treatment plans.
Submit monthly reports on activities, outreach, and beneficiary outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Physiotherapy or Bachelor's
degree in Physiotherapy (DPT/BPT).
Experience: Prior experience in community-based rehabilitation and centre-based
physiotherapy will be preferred.
Mobility: Willingness to travel within Uttar Pradesh as per project requirements.
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills with the
ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Work Conditions
Full-time position with travel as required.
