About Us
Golden Spoon is a premium family restaurant serving Mughlai, Chinese, and Continental cuisine. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver high-quality food and excellent guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Operate wok stations efficiently during lunch and dinner service.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Prepare sauces, marinades, stocks, and mise en place for daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
- Monitor food quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Assist in menu development and suggest new dishes when required.
- Minimize food wastage and follow inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Chinese kitchen or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Indo-Chinese cuisine including:
- Fried Rice
- Noodles
- Manchurian
- Chilli Chicken
- Dragon Chicken
- Schezwan Dishes
- Soups and Starters
- Experience handling high-volume restaurant orders.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently during peak service hours.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in family dining or casual dining restaurants.
- Ability to train junior kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of basic inventory management.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience and skill level)Food and accommodation can be provided if applicable.
Working Hours
- Lunch Shift: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Dinner Shift: 7:00 PM – 11:30 PM
