Job Title: ARC Welder

Job Summary
The ARC Welder is responsible for performing high-quality manual metal arc welding on structural steel, equipment, pipelines, and fabricated components. The role includes reading engineering drawings, preparing materials, ensuring weld quality, and complying with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding on various metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication layouts.
- Prepare workpieces by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and aligning materials before welding.
- Select appropriate electrodes and welding parameters based on material specifications.
- Inspect welded joints for defects and carry out repairs or rework as required.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, gas-cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
- Assist in fabrication, installation, and repair of structures, machinery, and equipment.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE, and maintain a clean work area.
- Support preventive maintenance and shutdown activities when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Qualification
- ITI Certificate in Welder Trade or equivalent qualification.
- Welding certification is preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding electrodes, joint preparation, and welding techniques.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools such as grinders, drills, and gas-cutting equipment.
- Good understanding of weld quality, distortion control, and defect identification.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as measuring tape, steel rule, and welding gauges.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
