We are looking for a sharp, proactive Procurement & Stock Management officer to take ownership of our supply chain lifecycle. In this role, you will bridge the gap between purchasing and inventory control. You’ll be responsible for securing high-quality goods at the best value, tracking stock levels in real-time, and ensuring our operations never experience downtime due to shortages or overstocking.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Vendor Relations: Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to maximize cost-efficiency.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels using our stock management systems. Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Order Fulfilment: Generate and track purchase orders (POs) from creation to delivery, ensuring goods arrive on time and match specifications.
Data & Forecasting: Analyze stock turnover rates and historical data to forecast future demand and prevent bottlenecks or excess inventory.
Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and damage; manage returns or disputes with suppliers when necessary.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline storage layout, reduce waste, and minimize carrying costs.
