Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced South Indian Commi 1 to assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic South Indian dishes. The candidate should have good knowledge of South Indian cuisine and maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, pongal, sambar, chutneys, and other regional specialties.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of ingredient requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Support kitchen team members during busy service hours.
Requirements:
- Morethan 5 years of experience as a Commi 1 or similar role in a South Indian kitchen.
- Good knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Pay: ₹25,200.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
