We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cambridge English Teacher to deliver high-quality English language instruction aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. The ideal candidate should be passionate about language teaching, skilled in modern pedagogical practices, and capable of fostering strong communication and critical thinking skills among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum (Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS & A Level as applicable).
- Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with Cambridge standards.
- Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress.
- Prepare students for Cambridge examinations and internal assessments.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into lessons.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary activities.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Cambridge teaching certification (CELTA/DELTA/IGCSE training) preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a Cambridge or international curriculum.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with Cambridge assessment patterns and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to use digital tools and smart classroom technology effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in handling IGCSE / AS & A Level English.
- Creative teaching approach with student-centered learning techniques.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide students for academic excellence.
