Job Summary
We are looking for a sharp, proactive, and practical Property Management Associate to help manage day-to-day property operations.
You don't need complex technical or computer skills for this role—you just need solid common sense and the mindset of an owner. If you can think on your feet, prioritize maintenance tasks, follow up consistently with vendors and tenants, and take full ownership of keeping properties running smoothly, you will thrive here.
Key Responsibilities
- Tenant Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for tenants. Message and follow up with residents regarding rent payments, property guidelines, and general inquiries.
- Rent Collection: Track rental payments, send friendly reminders, and proactively follow up on late payments to ensure rent is collected on time.
- Maintenance Prioritization: Receive maintenance requests and use common-sense judgment to prioritize them (e.g., distinguishing an urgent pipe leak from a routine fixture repair).
- Vendor Coordination: Call local contractors, service agencies, and vendors to assign work, schedule repair appointments, and ensure jobs are completed properly.
- Owner Mindset: Treat every property as if it were your own—stay proactive, resolve minor issues before they become big problems, and ensure smooth operations daily.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proactive Ownership: A self-starter attitude with practical problem-solving skills and strong common sense.
- Communication Skills: Clear, fluent spoken and written English to communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Reliability & Follow-Through: Excellent organizational habits—you don't let tasks fall through the cracks and you follow up until a job is done.
- Schedule: Ability to work full-time during US PDT Business Hours (Night Shift IST).
- No Advanced Tech Required: Basic ability to use a phone, respond to messages, and handle simple email/messaging software is all you need.
