Procurement & Sourcing
- Procure raw materials, electrical/mechanical components, fabrication items, bought-out parts, consumables, and services as per production requirements.
- Obtain quotations from approved vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Assist in price negotiations and issue purchase orders after approval.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Vendor Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with existing suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and quality issues.
- Support vendor identification and onboarding activities.
- Maintain vendor records and performance data.
Inventory & Production Coordination
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, and Quality departments for material requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests to avoid shortages.
- Assist in tracking slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
Documentation & MIS
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, quotations, comparison sheets, and procurement records.
- Update ERP systems with purchase transactions and supplier information.
- Generate procurement MIS reports and maintain documentation for audits.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Accounts for supplier invoices, payment follow-ups, and reconciliations.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding deliveries, shortages, or documentation.
- Support production by ensuring material availability as per schedules.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Good negotiation and vendor coordination skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing materials and supply chain operations.
- Working knowledge of ERP software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Good communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple purchase activities.
Preferred Knowledge
- Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Basic knowledge of ISO/IMS documentation systems.
- Experience with local procurement; exposure to import procurement is an advantage.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and specifications.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing procurement (preferred).
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
