Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, clean, wash, dry, and prepare instruments and medical equipment for sterilization.
- Pack, label, and arrange instruments and consumables for sterilization as per hospital protocols.
- Assist in operating sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and other sterilization units.
- Receive contaminated instruments and perform decontamination procedures safely.
- Store sterile items appropriately and issue them to various departments as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the CSSD department and work areas.
- Maintain sterilization records, logbooks, and documentation accurately.
- Follow infection control practices, biomedical waste management guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Report damaged instruments, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations to the supervisor.
- Assist in stock management and ensure adequate availability of sterile supplies.
- Participate in departmental training programs and quality improvement activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the CSSD Supervisor or Hospital Management.
Requirements:
- CSSD certification or relevant hospital experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of sterilization and infection control practices.
- Ability to work in a team and follow established procedures.
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
