We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Factory Incharge to oversee day-to-day production operations at our packaging manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machine maintenance, basic electrical troubleshooting, and shop floor supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and manage overall factory floor operations on a daily basis
- Ensure production targets are met as per schedule with minimal downtime
- Perform and coordinate basic preventive maintenance on packaging machines and equipment
- Identify and resolve basic electrical issues in machines (motor faults, wiring, sensors, switchgear, etc.)
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns and ensure quick resumption of production
- Manage shift workers and daily attendance; allocate duties to shop floor staff
- Maintain records of production output, machine usage, and maintenance logs
- Ensure quality standards are maintained during the production process
- Coordinate with stores/inventory for timely availability of raw materials and spare parts
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance — lubrication, belt replacement, gear checks, pneumatic systems
- Basic electrical knowledge — troubleshooting motors, sensors, and control panels
- Ability to lead and manage a team of floor workers
- Basic computer skills for maintaining production records
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering (preferred)
- Experience: 1–2 Years in a factory / manufacturing environment (Freshers with strong technical knowledge may apply)
- Language: Tamil / English (basic communication required)
SALARY:
-- Freshers (0–6 months): ₹15,000 per month
- 6 Months – 1 Year Experience: ₹16,000 – ₹17,000 per month
- 1–2 Years Experience: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on skills & performance)
