About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor:
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- A natural sense of storytelling, pacing, and ability to reflect brand tone and messaging.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic sound design to elevate video quality.
- High attention to detail, visual composition, and design principles.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content tailored to various social media platforms.
- Ensure each video is visually compelling, on-brand, and optimized for engagement.
- Cut and arrange raw footage, add music, subtitles, motion graphics, sound effects, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, marketing, and design teams to execute creative briefs and content strategies.
- Maintain visual consistency and quality across all video deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects at once while adhering to deadlines and production schedules.
Preferred Candidates:
Apart from the main skills & abilities required in a video editor, candidates with following skills/abilities/experiences would be preferred higher:
- English written & spoken proficiency & good command over English grammar.
- An actively managed personal work portfolio on some platform.
- Knowledge & experience of creating/editing graphics in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.
- Experience of providing freelance design services on Upwork, or Fiverr, or any such platform.
- Done prior internships in video editing or motion graphics domains.
- Knows principles of storytelling, understands storyboarding.
- Good general knowledge, awareness of current affairs, and decent aptitude.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
