Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Store Officer to oversee store operations in an electrical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in inventory management, material handling, stock control, and documentation. The candidate must have prior experience in the electrical manufacturing industry and possess a good understanding of electrical materials and components to ensure smooth store operations and uninterrupted production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updating of stock transactions.
- Prepare and maintain GRN, material issue notes, stock registers, and other store documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase department for timely procurement of materials.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of raw materials and finished goods.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices for efficient inventory management.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch departments to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure compliance with safety standards within the store.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Handle inward and outward material entries in Tally ERP and maintain accurate records.
- Assist during internal and external stock audits.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of experience in Store Operations within an Electrical Manufacturing Company.
- Good knowledge of electrical materials and components used in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of Inventory Management, GRN, Material Receipt, Material Issue, Stock Reconciliation, and Documentation.
- Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO and stock auditing processes.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Additional certification in Stores, Inventory Management, or ERP will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in handling store operations in an electrical manufacturing environment.
- Ability to maintain inventory accuracy and documentation with minimal supervision.
- Good understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and store procedures.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per hour
