JOB SUMMARY
Catalyst Education is hiring an experienced and target-oriented Sales Team Leader to lead our Edappal sales team. The ideal candidate should have strong team-handling skills, proven sales performance, and preferably experience in the EdTech/Education industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales/admission team.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Monitor individual and team performance.
- Allocate leads and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Guide team members throughout the sales and admission process.
- Support counsellors in handling objections and closing admissions.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Track leads, conversions, follow-ups, revenue, and team productivity.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective strategies.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Academic, and Branch teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management.
- Train new team members on CRM, counselling, sales processes, and conversion techniques.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of experience in Sales / Business Development.
- Previous EdTech experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of team-handling experience preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales/admission targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
- Highly target-oriented and result-driven.
- Good knowledge of CRM and sales reporting.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
