The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who can help expand our client portfolio
through strategic outreach, partnerships, and relationship building. You’ll shape the way Kloc
grows in key markets by identifying high-fit opportunities, engaging with decision-makers, and
positioning our expertise within the Shopify and e-commerce ecosystems.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute outbound strategies to drive qualified leads and opportunities from
global markets.
- Identify, prospect, and nurture relationships with potential clients, Shopify Partners, and
technology collaborators.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, from initial outreach to contract closure.
- Consult with prospects to understand their business goals, technical needs, and
e-commerce challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, development, marketing) to craft proposals and
deliver tailored solutions.
- Represent Kloc at partner events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Track and report key performance metrics, refining strategies based on data insights.
Who You Are
- 5–7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or outbound sales
within an agency or Shopify ecosystem.
- Proven success generating and closing tech service deals (preferably Shopify or
e-commerce platforms).
- Strong understanding of digital product development — bonus points if you’ve sold
custom builds or integrations.
- Excellent communicator who can present with clarity and confidence across cultures and
mediums.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with self-driven energy — you enjoy creating opportunities and
seeing them through.
- Adept at using CRM systems and sales tools to manage outreach and performance
tracking.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with international clients across time zones.
- Familiarity with the Shopify Partner ecosystem or e-commerce SaaS partnerships.
- Understanding of digital marketing, UX/UI, or development processes.
