Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Procurement Engineer (mechanical) to join our team in Varkala. You will manage and bridges engineering and supply chain management. They source technical materials, equipment, and services for construction or manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sourcing: Identify and qualify suppliers for specialized materials, machinery, and engineering components
Bidding & Negotiation: Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluate bids, and negotiate commercial/technical terms to optimize costs.
Project Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, site engineers, and design teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all procured materials and vendor practices comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and QA/QC
· Education: Mechanical Engineering .
· Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
· Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the international. Industrial and local supplier market is highly preferred.
· Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Advanced Excel) and experience with ERP systems .
· Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills in English
· Competitive salary start from 25000 INR and based on the experience and qualification
