Job Summary
Rathi Build Mart is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Sales Manager to lead project sales for its premium Tiles, Bath Fittings, Sanitaryware, and Interior Solutions division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities with builders, architects, interior designers, contractors, consultants, hotels, hospitals, schools, corporate houses, and institutional clients.
The role demands strong business development capabilities, relationship management, project coordination, and the ability to convert project opportunities into profitable business while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Identification & Market Development
- Identify upcoming and ongoing residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, educational, and institutional projects.
- Develop a strong pipeline of potential projects through market surveys, networking, and industry contacts.
- Track construction activities and renovation projects within the assigned territory.
- Maintain project databases and regularly update project progress.
2. Business Development
- Generate business through Builders, Developers, Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Contractors, PMC Companies, Government Departments, Hotels, Hospitals, Schools, and Corporate Clients.
- Build long-term professional relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct regular site visits and client meetings.
- Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations.
- Promote premium Tiles, Bath Fittings, Sanitaryware, and Interior Products.
- Expand the company's presence in the project segment.
3. Sales & Commercial Activities
- Prepare BOQs, quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts while maintaining company profitability.
- Follow up on quotations until order closure.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Warehouse, Logistics, Accounts, and Installation teams for smooth project execution.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts and business plans.
4. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Maintain complete customer and project records in the CRM system.
- Update client meetings, quotations, follow-ups, project status, and order details.
- Ensure timely follow-up until project completion.
- Generate pipeline and sales reports for management review.
5. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely material availability and delivery.
- Monitor project execution timelines.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure smooth communication between customers and internal teams.
- Support installation and after-sales service whenever required.
6. Collection & Payment Follow-up
- Ensure timely collection of payments.
- Monitor outstanding receivables.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding customer payments.
- Minimize overdue collections.
7. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Identify emerging market trends and business opportunities.
- Collect customer feedback for product and service improvements.
- Recommend strategies for increasing market share.

- Visit Architects and Interior Designers.

- Conduct Site Visits.
- Generate New Leads.
- Follow up on Existing Projects.
- Prepare Quotations.
- Coordinate Material Deliveries.
- Follow up for Payments.
- Update CRM Daily.
- Submit Daily Visit Reports (DVR).
- Submit Weekly Sales Reports.
- Submit Monthly Sales Forecasts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline.
- MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 4–8 years in Project Sales.
- Experience in Tiles, Bath Fittings, Sanitaryware, Interior Products, Building Materials, Construction, or Architectural Products is mandatory.
- Proven track record in institutional and commercial project sales.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
