We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Junior Service Engineer to join our JCB dealership service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance, machine diagnostics, repairs, and field service support for JCB construction equipment. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively under the guidance of Senior Service Engineers and Service Managers.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing, and repairs on JCB construction equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related faults.
- Attend customer breakdown calls and provide timely field service support.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and machine commissioning.
- Assist Senior Service Engineers in handling complex repairs and technical issues.
- Prepare service reports, job cards, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop resources.
- Coordinate with the Spare Parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts.
- Follow JCB service procedures, dealership SOPs, and OEM quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Build positive customer relationships by providing professional and timely service.
- Participate in technical training programmes to improve product knowledge and service skills.
- Support warranty inspections and assist with warranty claim documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- ITI with relevant heavy equipment experience may also be considered.
- JCB or OEM technical certification will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years of overall experience in servicing construction equipment, heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, or industrial equipment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Commercial Vehicle, Construction Equipment, Heavy Equipment, Earthmoving Equipment, or Industrial Equipment sector.
- Previous experience with JCB, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Tata Hitachi, CASE Construction Equipment, Volvo Construction Equipment, Hyundai Construction Equipment, SANY, XCMG, Doosan, or similar OEM dealerships will be preferred.
