Educational Qualification
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or 2years Advanced Diploma from a recognized College
2. Work Experience
- 1–3 years (for junior roles)
- 5+ years (for senior faculty roles)
- Experience in:
- Fashion industry (design houses, brands)
- Teaching or training (preferred but not always required)
3. Skills Required
- Strong design & illustration skills
- Knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and trends
- Software skills (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD)
- Communication & teaching ability
- Creativity and industry awareness
Job Roles & Responsibilities
As a fashion design faculty, you’ll:
Teaching & Academic Work
- Teach subjects like:
- Fashion illustration
- Textile design
- Pattern making
- Fashion history
- Conduct practical studio classes
- Prepare lesson plans & assignments
Student Development
- Guide students on projects and portfolios
- Mentor them for internships and placements
- Evaluate exams, submissions, and presentations
Industry & Research
- Stay updated with fashion trends
- Participate in workshops, seminars, fashion shows
- Sometimes collaborate with fashion brands
- Guide the students to participate and also organize Fashion Shows
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: ₹5,600.00 - ₹8,400.00 per month
