Job Summary: The HR Officer will work with the team for an Australian shared services organization and will cater to the human resources requirements of our foreign counterpart organisations working within the health-related sectors. This role includes developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, recruitment and selection, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. The HR Manager will also provide strategic advice and support to the stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and relevant legislation and regulations
- Manage recruitment and selection processes for the Shared Service Unit, including advertising roles, screening candidates, and conducting interviews over calls on behalf of our international clients.
- Complete the onboarding process for new employees
- Effectively following the process of onboarding, induction and training of new joiners
- Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary processes, and grievances
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and produce monthly HR reports such as compliance, hiring etc
- Execute strategies related to achieving HR compliance
- Book employees in for annual competency renewal training/s with third-party vendors as required for their role.
- Relevant degree in Human Resource Management with 3-5 yrs of experience
- A critical mindset to identify areas of improvement aligned with the organisation's goals and values
- Experience in HR management, preferably in Shared Service and with international stakeholders
- Knowledge and compliance with privacy laws and regulations, confidentiality, ethics, and compliance
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to develop and implement HR policies, recruitment and selection processes, and employee relations including performance management, disciplinary processes, and grievances
- Provide strategic HR advice, manage budgets, and deliver cost-effective HR services
The ideal candidate for the position should have a relevant degree in HRM, be critical-minded, and be keen to work with a start-up. They should have experience in HR management with international stakeholders and be compliant with privacy laws and regulations. The candidate should also possess strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and have the ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures while providing strategic HR advice to senior management. Finally, they should be able to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective HR services.
