The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and procuring high-quality raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods from reliable vendors. The role involves strategic vendor development, cost optimization, quality assurance, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support production and business growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Vendor Sourcing & Development
- Identify and onboard new suppliers for herbs, extracts, excipients, and packaging materials
- Develop a strong vendor base across India (Indore, Rajasthan, Kerala, etc.)
- Evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, compliance, and reliability
- Maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers
Skills
- Strong hand on experience in Excel.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic herbs, extracts, and supply markets
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (AYUSH, GMP, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with cost optimization focus
- Good communication and coordination skills
