Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Senior Developer with 5-6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in integrations, automation, and platform customization, along with strong exposure across multiple ServiceNow modules. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can architect scalable solutions that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Development & Customization
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions using best practices and platform standards
- Configure and customize core ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, Employee Center, CSM)
- Build and maintain custom applications using App Engine Studio and ServiceNow Studio
- Develop business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer workflows
Integrations
- Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
- Develop REST, SOAP, and MID Server-based integrations
- Work with APIs, web services, and third-party tools (e.g., Azure, AWS, SAP, Salesforce)
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations for performance and scalability
Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Develop of end-to-end automation solutions using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Implement orchestration and process automation across enterprise systems
- Improve service delivery efficiency through automation best practices
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery
- Document technical designs, integration patterns, and implementation details
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5-6 years of ServiceNow development experience
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server)
- Automation (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Orchestration)
- Scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)
- Experience with at least 2-3 ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, SPM, CSM)
- Proven experience designing scalable and secure solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Strongly preferred
- Additional certifications (ITSM, ITOM, IntegrationHub, HRSD, etc.) are a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
