Position: German Language Faculty

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate German Language Faculty with proficiency at B2 to C1 level to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong teaching skills and hands-on experience in designing and developing German language curricula and syllabi in alignment with CEFR standards. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, creating structured learning pathways, and preparing students for German language certification exams.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Training
- Conduct German language classes for A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels.
- Teach all four language competencies: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
- Deliver interactive and student-centered lessons using modern teaching methodologies.
- Prepare students for Goethe, TELC, ÖSD, and other recognized German language examinations.
Curriculum & Syllabus Design
- Design, develop, and update German language syllabi from A1 to C1 levels based on CEFR guidelines.
- Create detailed course structures, lesson plans, learning objectives, and assessment frameworks.
- Develop teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, mock tests, and classroom activities.
- Ensure curriculum quality, progression, and alignment with international language standards.
- Customize learning programs based on student requirements and institutional goals.
Assessment & Student Development
- Conduct placement tests and periodic evaluations.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance.
- Design and administer assessments, assignments, and mock examinations.
- Maintain academic records and performance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in German Language, German Studies, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- German language proficiency at B2 or C1 level (certification preferred).
- Proven experience in teaching German language courses.
- Strong knowledge of CEFR standards and German language certification exams.
- Experience in syllabus creation, curriculum development, and academic planning.
Required Skills
- Excellent German and English communication skills.
- Curriculum and syllabus development expertise.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Ability to create learning materials and assessments independently.
- Proficiency in online and offline teaching platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Goethe-Zertifikat B2/C1, TELC, ÖSD, or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience in language institutes, colleges, or training centers.
- Experience in curriculum development and academic coordination.
