Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will be involved in problem-solving and innovation, ensuring that the software solutions align with the overall objectives of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Key responsibilities Development of python programs using pure python, pandas, Polars. Design and implement solutions to meet business requirements Support and maintenance Develop and maintain metadata, user access and security controls Provide technical support for users and resolve system issues Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data models, process flows and system diagrams Must-have knowledge and experience Requirements Minimum 8-9 years of experience in Python programming language. Should have worked with 3rd party libraries like pandas, polars etc. Experience in Orchestration, cache techniques, API s and working on cloud platforms. Experience in solutioning and architecting applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Experience in Financial Services, preferable in the Credit risk domain Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with modern frameworks and libraries relevant to Python development. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Python (Programming Language). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
