Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Supervise day-to-day workflow, assign tasks to technicians, and ensure timely vehicle delivery.
- Quality & Safety Control: Inspect vehicle repairs, enforce workplace safety rules (like 5S standards), and minimize repeat complaints.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and evaluate mechanics and support staff.
- Resource & Cost Control: Manage spare parts inventory, track operational costs, and oversee equipment maintenance.
- Customer Relations: Address escalated client issues and coordinate vehicle status updates with service advisors.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 10+ years working in automotive service, manufacturing, or dealership workshops.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, organization, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
