Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project management activities, financial tracking, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of project management along with domain knowledge in U.S. Insurance, especially Life and Annuity processes. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office tools, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, organize, and update project documentation, including schedules, status reports, trackers, and dashboards.
- Support financial operations such as processing payments, tracking invoices, and maintaining financial records with accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather updates, ensure alignment, and drive timely completion of project deliverables.
- Proactively monitor project risks, issues, and change requests, ensuring proper documentation and escalation where required.
- Track project progress and follow up with stakeholders on pending tasks, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and project updates for stakeholders and leadership.
- Handle data tracking related to Premium Processing, Suspense Accounts, and reconciliation activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
- Basic understanding of project management concepts, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel (advanced functions preferred), PowerPoint, and Word.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience or exposure to U.S. Insurance processes, particularly Life and Annuity, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Finance & Accounts, Premium Processing, Suspense Accounts handling, and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Preferably a Commerce graduate (B.Com or equivalent).
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in an insurance, finance, or project support role.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and project tracking systems.
- Exposure to compliance and operational processes in insurance workflows.
