Quantity Surveyor – Interior Projects
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in interior fit-out and residential/commercial interior projects to handle estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, costing, procurement coordination and project billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed BOQ and quantity take-offs based on drawings and site measurements.
- Prepare estimates and quotations for interior works including carpentry, modular furniture, civil works, false ceiling, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, tiling, granite/marble and other finishing works.
- Analyse drawings, 2D plans and 3D designs to calculate accurate quantities.
- Prepare material quantity requirements for plywood, laminates, hardware, boards, glass, tiles, electrical materials, etc.
- Coordinate with designers, site engineers, vendors, contractors and clients.
- Obtain and compare vendor/contractor quotations and negotiate rates.
- Track material consumption, wastage and project costs.
- Prepare work orders, purchase requirements and subcontractor bills.
- Verify site measurements and contractor bills against actual executed quantities.
- Maintain project-wise costing, budget and variation statements.
- Identify additional works, deviations and variations during execution and update the estimate accordingly.
- Maintain proper documentation of project estimates, BOQs, purchase orders and bills.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of interior construction methods and materials.
- Strong understanding of carpentry and modular furniture estimation.
- Knowledge of plywood, MDF/HDHMR, laminates, hardware, glass, granite, tiles, gypsum, electrical and plumbing works.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity/costing calculations.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and interior drawings.
- Good knowledge of measurements, rate analysis and vendor quotations.
- Experience in handling multiple interior projects will be an advantage.
Experience: 1–4 years in Quantity Surveying / Interior Estimation / Interior Execution.
Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in residential interiors, turnkey interior projects or interior contracting.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
