Job Summary:
The KG Co-Teacher supports the Class Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for Kindergarten students. The role involves assisting in classroom instruction, supervising children, preparing learning materials, maintaining classroom discipline, and ensuring the overall well-being of students while following the CBSE curriculum and school policies.
Key Responsibilities:Academic Support
- Assist the Class Teacher in planning and implementing daily lesson plans.
- Support students during classroom activities, worksheets, projects, and assessments.
- Prepare and organize teaching-learning materials.
- Assist in conducting classroom activities, storytelling, rhymes, phonics, and hands-on learning sessions.
Student Care & Safety
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of all students throughout the school day.
- Assist students during snack time, washroom breaks, and dispersal.
- Monitor students during indoor and outdoor play activities.
- Provide emotional support and encourage positive behaviour.
Classroom Management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
- Assist in arranging classroom displays, learning corners, and educational resources.
- Help maintain attendance, student records, and classroom documentation.
- Support the teacher in maintaining discipline and classroom routines.
Parent Communication
- Communicate routine updates to parents as guided by the Class Teacher or Coordinator.
- Assist during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), school events, and celebrations.
- Share observations regarding student progress with the Class Teacher.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Montessori, Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), or equivalent is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in a Preschool, Kindergarten, or CBSE School is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a passion for working with young children are welcome.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
