Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical parts, assemblies, enclosures, and sheet metal components using SolidWorks. The role involves end-to-end product development support, from concept design to production, ensuring high-quality, manufacturable, and reliable mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, enclosures, and sheet metal components using SolidWorks.
- Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Electronics Engineers for PCB integration, enclosure design, thermal management, and product development.
- Design plastic and sheet metal components with strong focus on manufacturability, assembly, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with vendors and production teams for prototype development and production support.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and design validation activities.
- Support new product development (NPD) from concept stage to mass production.
- Troubleshoot mechanical design issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, reliability requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD tools).
- Good understanding of sheet metal design, plastic part design, and manufacturing processes.
Pay: ₹11,666.09 - ₹46,053.47 per month
