The ELV Support Engineer is responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Door Interlock Systems, Video Door Phones, Intrusion Alarm, and Public Address systems. The role ensures system reliability, customer satisfaction, and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, test, and commission ELV systems. Provide L1/L2 technical support for ELV-related issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity problems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Handle service tickets and close within defined SLA.
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and internal teams. Prepare service reports, as-built drawings, and documentation. Ensure system uptime, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Train clients on basic system operation and handling.
Required Skills : Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Door Interlock System, VDP, Intrusion, PA systems. Basic networking (IP, LAN, switches, routers).
Hands-on troubleshooting skills. Good communication and coordination ability. Willingness to travel for site support.
