Internship Objective
The Interior Designer Intern will work closely with the Design Team to gain practical exposure to professional interior design projects. The intern will assist in design development, technical drawings, presentations, site coordination, and material research while learning industry standards and company workflows.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign Assistance
- Assist senior designers in preparing concept layouts and space planning.
- Support the preparation of mood boards and design presentations.
- Help in selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and color schemes.
- Assist in preparing client presentation sheets.
Technical Support
- Assist in preparing and modifying AutoCAD drawings.
- Help prepare furniture layouts, electrical layouts, ceiling layouts, and working drawings.
- Update drawings based on client and management feedback.
- Organize drawing files and maintain project documentation.
3D & Visualization
- Assist in creating SketchUp models.
- Support the visualization team with basic rendering work.
- Help prepare presentation views and render sheets.
Material Research
- Research furniture, materials, lighting fixtures, and accessories.
- Assist in preparing material boards.
- Coordinate with vendors for sample collection and quotations whenever required.
Site Exposure
- Visit project sites with senior team members.
- Assist in taking site measurements.
- Observe execution processes and prepare measurement notes.
- Report observations to the reporting designer.
Documentation
- Maintain project folders and drawing revisions.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and material schedules.
- Submit Daily Work Reports (DWR).
- Organize project-related documents.
Learning & Development
- Learn company design standards and workflows.
- Attend internal training sessions.
- Learn professional client communication.
- Continuously improve software and technical knowledge.

Educational Qualification
- Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹45,663.93 per month
