About the Role
Optima Poultry Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a responsible and experienced Commercial Vehicle Driver to join our Logistics team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of poultry medicines, vaccines, feed additives, feed supplements, and other company products to customers across Tamil Nadu and neighboring states while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company commercial vehicles.
Deliver poultry medicines, vaccines, feed additives, feed supplements, and other products to customer locations.
Ensure timely and safe transportation of products.
Verify delivery challans, invoices, and obtain customer acknowledgements.
Load and unload products carefully to prevent damage.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance requirements.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all vehicle documents are valid.
Maintain trip sheets, fuel records, and delivery logs.
Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with the Logistics and Sales teams for scheduled deliveries.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Vehicle Driver.
Qualification & Requirements
Valid Commercial Driving License (LMV Transport/Commercial Badge) is mandatory.
Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) License is NOT required.
Good knowledge of routes across Tamil Nadu and nearby states.
Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Willingness to travel as per delivery schedules.
Good communication and customer handling skills.
Ability to maintain delivery records and documentation.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications).
Daily Food Allowance: Provided during outstation deliveries as per company policy.
