Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage production environments, automate deployment pipelines, and ensure system reliability and scalability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation, along with hands-on experience in containerized and microservices-based environments.
This role requires a proactive individual who can lead incident management, implement DevOps best practices, and support seamless software delivery with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead incident management, troubleshooting, and ensure production stability.
- Manage software delivery operations, including scripting, automation, and release management.
- Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines to ensure zero-downtime releases.
- Deploy new modules, patches, upgrades, and fixes in production environments.
- Develop and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Design and enhance end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, including advanced deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue-Green deployments.
- Implement DevOps best practices across development and infrastructure teams.
- Integrate automated and containerized testing to minimize regression issues.
- Collaborate in technical discussions, architecture planning, and documentation.
- Build and maintain internal platform tools to support engineering teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and production support.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals, API Gateways, and network proxies (Envoy preferred).
- Experience working with distributed NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Strong scripting skills using Shell and/or Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with advanced deployment strategies such as Canary or Blue-Green deployments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience building internal developer platforms or tooling.
