Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced PEB Civil Engineer to design, plan, coordinate, and supervise civil and structural works related to Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil and structural activities are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil and structural designs, drawings, and calculations for PEB projects.
- Design foundations, pedestals, retaining structures, drainage systems, and other civil components.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review geotechnical reports and recommend suitable foundation systems.
Project Execution
- Supervise site construction activities including excavation, foundation works, RCC works, and structural installations.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and clients.
Quality Control
- Conduct inspections and quality checks of materials and workmanship.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, codes, and project requirements.
- Review test reports for concrete, steel, and other construction materials.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports.
Planning & Coordination
- Prepare project schedules and monitor progress against planned targets.
- Coordinate material procurement and site logistics.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support.
- Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare BOQs, quantity estimates, and material take-offs.
- Maintain project records, progress reports, and site documentation.
- Review contractor bills and measurements.
- Prepare technical reports and project completion documentation.
QualificationsEducation
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in PEB, industrial, warehouse, factory, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in foundation design and execution for steel structures is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of PEB structures and steel building systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Familiarity with STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or similar structural analysis software.
- Knowledge of RCC and steel design codes (IS Codes).
- Experience in quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Understanding of construction methodologies and site management.
