Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated IPR Litigation Advocate to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling intellectual property disputes, excellent drafting and advocacy skills, and a strong understanding of Indian intellectual property laws and civil litigation procedures. The role involves representing clients before various judicial forums, developing litigation strategies, and advising clients on protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights.
Qualifications
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
- LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in *Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) litigation*.
- Must have substantial experience in handling matters before the *District Courts and/or High Court*.
- Strong drafting skills, court appearances, and practical experience in managing IPR litigation are essential.
- Experience appearing before High Courts, Commercial Courts, or IP-related judicial forums.
- Proven experience handling trademark, copyright, patent, design, and related commercial disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients before the High Courts, District Courts, Commercial Courts, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums in intellectual property disputes.
- Handle litigation involving trademarks, copyrights, patents, industrial designs, trade secrets, domain names, and passing-off actions.
- Draft and review plaints, written statements, applications, affidavits, appeals, legal notices, cease-and-desist notices, written submissions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare case briefs, legal opinions, and litigation strategies.
- Manage all stages of litigation, including filing, hearings, evidence, witness preparation, and enforcement of court orders.
- Advise clients on intellectual property enforcement, infringement risks, licensing disputes, and dispute resolution strategies.
- Coordinate with clients, senior counsel, investigators, technical experts, and court officials to ensure effective case management.
- Monitor legal developments in intellectual property law and provide timely updates to clients and internal teams.
- Support negotiations, mediation, and settlement discussions where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate litigation records and ensure compliance with procedural deadlines.

Job Summary
