About the Role
Global Properties – Maple High Street is looking for an experienced and disciplined Security Supervisor to oversee the overall security operations of our commercial property. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, be capable of managing security personnel, ensuring safety standards, handling emergencies, and maintaining a secure environment for visitors, tenants, employees, and property assets.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Supervise day-to-day security operations across the property.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, grooming, and deployment of all security guards.
- Prepare duty rosters, shift schedules, and manpower allocation.
- Conduct regular patrolling of the premises to identify and address security risks.
- Ensure proper functioning of CCTV systems, access control, boom barriers, fire safety equipment, and other security devices.
- Monitor all entry and exit points, including visitor and vehicle movement.
- Handle incidents such as theft, vandalism, trespassing, accidents, emergencies, and guest complaints promptly.
- Coordinate with police, fire department, ambulance services, and other emergency authorities whenever required.
- Maintain daily occurrence reports, incident reports, visitor records, vehicle logs, and security registers.
- Conduct regular security briefings, toolbox talks, and on-the-job training for security personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety regulations, and security protocols.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, facility, engineering, parking, and tenant teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor contractor and vendor activities to ensure compliance with security guidelines.
- Verify that all emergency exits, fire exits, and evacuation routes remain accessible at all times.
- Investigate security incidents and submit detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Ensure professional behaviour and excellent customer service by the security team.
- Perform any other security-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:-
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Security Supervisor in a mall, commercial property, hotel, township, or corporate facility.
- Experience in handling a team of security guards.
- Knowledge of CCTV operations, access control systems, and fire safety procedures.
- Familiarity with incident reporting, emergency response, and security documentation.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, Email).
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements.
