We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and passionate Dance Teacher to inspire students through dance while fostering confidence, creativity, discipline, and teamwork. The ideal candidate should be capable of teaching various dance forms, choreographing performances, and encouraging students to express themselves through movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging dance classes for students across different grade levels.
- Teach one or more dance styles such as Classical, Contemporary, Folk, Western, or Freestyle.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that enhance students' rhythm, coordination, flexibility, and performance skills.
- Choreograph performances for annual day celebrations, cultural events, competitions, and other school programs.
- Encourage student participation in dance clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Coordinate with school staff for cultural events and stage performances.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of dance props, costumes, and related materials.
- Promote creativity, teamwork, confidence, and self-expression among students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory (where applicable).
- 2–5 years of teaching experience as a Dance Teacher.
- Experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in one or more dance forms (Classical, Western, Contemporary, Folk, etc.).
- Strong choreography and performance planning skills.
- Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of different age groups.
- Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Strong organizational and event coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in preparing students for cultural events, competitions, and stage performances.
- Passionate about nurturing students' artistic and creative abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school management.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
