The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining production processes and documentation to ensure efficient operations, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role supports production planning, risk management, resource utilization, and overall process enhancement to meet organizational delivery goals.
Create, update, and maintain Production Procedures, Process Standards, Work Instructions, and Flow Diagrams.
Develop and manage Production Plans aligned with organizational goals and delivery timelines.
Maintain and track Route Cards, production records, and drawings to ensure workflow transparency and complete process traceability.
Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, jigs, and fixtures to ensure availability, calibration, and readiness for production.
Ensure efficient utilization of workforce, machines, and production resources to achieve operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Implement and maintain Risk Matrix and Skill Matrix for resource optimization and risk mitigation.
Conduct risk analysis and prepare mitigation plans for identified process and operational risks.
Track, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate production efficiency, quality, and performance.
Maintain records of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to support equipment availability and reliability.
Drive and monitor continual improvement initiatives (Kaizen) to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and eliminate inefficiencies.
Ensure compliance with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention processes across all production areas and maintain a clean, controlled work environment.
Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in production engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing operations.
Strong knowledge of production documentation, workflow management, and process improvement tools.
Experience in aerospace, automotive, electronics, or high-precision manufacturing.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, PFMEA, and RCA methodologies.
Proficiency in creating flow diagrams, process maps, and production planning documents.
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
