About the Role
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to drive the quality assurance process, lead the QA team, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automation testing, with proven leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers.
- Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Oversee both manual and automation testing activities across multiple projects.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Drive defect triage meetings and ensure timely bug resolution.
- Ensure test environments, tools, and frameworks are up to date and efficient.
- Track, report, and improve quality metrics for releases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7–8 years of overall QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead/mentoring role.
- Strong expertise in manual and automation testing (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
